A day at the Marsh: Plumb Beach Shorebirds

Meet 9:50 a.m. at the octagonal (closed) building at the parking lot midsection.

Itinerary: The plan is to bird the marsh and beach initially , then sit/stand on the beach facing the mudflats as the tide drops near the eastern point of Plumb Beach. Bring a scope and lunch as well as sunblock, etc.
The closest restrooms are in Sheepshead Bay, so please expect to drive or walk a long distance if you need to use them.
Public Transportation: Nearest bus is the B4 last stop Knapp Street. The B4 transfers from the Q, F lines. Also from the b68 Coney island Bus line. https://new.mta.info/map/5261
