Jamaica Bay’s Breeding Birds and Butterflies

Focus: 200 species of birds is the historical record for June birds at JBWR; we’ll focus on a casual journey to enjoy birds settled in their nests and breeding territories. Furthermore, we’ll look for butterflies along the way. Bring your camera!
Notes: Expect a good amount of walking, approximately 4 miles; bring a scope if you have one. This is a carpool trip. Members get priority. If there are not enough cars available, the A train to Far Rockaway is possible transport.
