DESCRIPTION:Leader: Heydi Lopes \nParticipant limit: 16 members \nFocus: This trip focuses on late fall migrants\, particularly sparrows\, raptors in peak swing\, and early winter species\, namely arriving water fowl and perhaps late shorebirds. There will be concentration on grassland species and possibly a vagrant species. \nRegistrar: Bobbi Manian email roberta.manian@gmail.com \nRegistration Period: October 16th-October 20th \nNotes: Bring lunch\, plenty of water\, insect repellent\, and good walking shoes. The walking is flat and casually paced with likely 5 miles total distance. If you want to bring a scope\, a light one is best. We expect a walk ending in midafternoon.. There are restrooms available. \n
