DESCRIPTION:Meet 8:30 am at Rite Aid Drugstore on 4th Ave and Bay Ridge Avenues\nhttps://tinyurl.com/46txd4ye \nLeader:  Peter Dorosh  347-622-3559 (text only) \nPlease register ( for weather alert):   Prosbird@gmail.com or Prosbird@aol.com \nFocus: primarily Gulls\, ducks\, waterfowl species\, and occasional songbird or shorebird here and there. \nItinerary: We will start first after a 5 block walk from the R train “Bay Ridge Ave” at American Veterans Memorial Pier\, scour the jetty area here\, then proceed eastward through Owls Head Park\, Brooklyn Army Pier 4 (BAT4)  and eventually to Bush Terminal Pier Park. If desiring to prolong the day\, we could take the R train to Court Street for the walk through Brooklyn Bridge Park for the hardy birders. \nNotes: Expect a good amount of walking\, approximately 7 miles; bring a scope if you have one. The nearest train to the meeting spot is the R line at Bay Ridge Ave. We likely stop at a place to eat by the Lutheran Med Hospital area. \nAccess is by public transportation only;  we will not be arranging car pools. \n
