SUMMARY:Overnight trip: Two Days on the Southern Connecticut Coast
DESCRIPTION:Leader: Richard Payne \nParticipant limit: 12 \nFocus: Coastal species including waterfowl\, freshwater ducks\, raptors\, late sparrows\, winter finch species\, possible extralimital species. \nRegistrar: Prosbird@gmail.com or prosbird@aol.com \nRegistration Period: October 1st- November 3rd \nCarpool fee: $75. Drivers get priority. \nItinerary: The club embarks on its first overnight trip in 4 years. The trip will visit coastal sites on the drive up (Friday) including Sherwood Island State Park\, and/or Cove Island\, Long Beach/Lordship Marsh\, Milford Point\, or Silver Sands State Park. Saturday’s focus will be Connecticut’s best known hotspot: Hammonasset Beach State Park\, with possible stops at Lighthouse Point Park or Sandy Point in West Haven on the way back.  Accommodations will be chosen to allow the group to have a New Haven pizza dinner on Friday night. \nNote: Friday November 10th is Veterans Day. \n
