SUMMARY:SUMMER BIRDS OF THE JAMAICA BAY WATERSHED
DESCRIPTION:Leader: Peter Dorosh \nParticipant limit: 12 \nFocus: early season migrating and breeding shorebirds\, water birds\, marsh species\, and coastal songbirds \nRegistrar: Prosbird@gmail.com or prosbird@aol.com \nRegistration Period: July 9th-July 13th. \nCar pool fee: $12 \nItinerary: This car pool trip will visit locations frequented by shorebirds along Jamaica Bay locales starting with Plumb Beach; likely\, in clockwise order afterwards\, also visiting Chisholm State Park\, Jamaica Bay Refuge and Fort Tilden Gateway unit (with beach fishing permit.) This is a marathon all day trip likely ending 6 pm after the early morning start. There will be no early departures/dropoffs for public transportation. \nNote: Current club members will receive priority. Each person must register individually; you may not register additional participants.
