Focus: The annual mid-winter Great Backyard Bird Count kicks off this weekend, running for four days with the goal of counting all bird species in a joyful celebration, appreciating the beauty of winter birds in any location. Now in its 28th year, this festival thrives on a spirit of enjoyment, fun, and camaraderie.
