Note: A one-day trip to one of the best birding spots on the east coast. You never know what you will find at Brigantine! The trip will be by car on an 8-mile loop around the marsh with regular stops, as well as hitting some spots around the visitors center. Expect passerines, terns, gulls, shorebirds,Bitterns, and waterfowl. Recent years have yielded Brown Pelican and rarities such as Black-necked Stilt, Black Tern, and Cattle Egret.
It is a substantial drive so we will depart at 6:30 a.m. and arrive back late in the evening. Bring lunch, scope, snacks, water, sunscreen, and bug spray.
When you register please provide your address and whether you can drive and how many passengers you can take, or if you’ll need a ride. Club members and drivers get priority.
