Exploring NYC’s Natural Oasis: The sights and Sounds of Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge

Focus: Join NYC’s top birding by ear expert as they explore the best wildlife refuge in the city for breeding bird diversity and their songs, while also spotting colonial waterbirds, late migrants, and shorebirds. Historically, in June, JBWR has recorded an impressive 205 species.

Meeting time will be provided upon end of registration period. Current club members and drivers will receive priority. Each person must register individually; you may not register additional participants.
Notes: The walk takes place primarily around the West Pond, the North and South Gardens, as well as Big John’s Pond and a view of East Pond. East pond in late spring will have high water.
