Focus: The focus is primarily coastal waterfowl and gulls, lingering shorebirds, sparrows, dune species, raptors, finches and possible vagrant birds.

Itinerary: During this time when colorful foliage is at Autumn’s peak, the plan usually focuses on birding West End, Coast Guard Station, Roosevelt Nature Center area, and Point Lookout. Bring lunch, water, hot beverage and a scope if you own one; dress accordingly for cool weather and good walking shoes.
