Birding Teddy’s Backyard: Spots Around Oyster Bay, LI

Note: this is a Long Island Railroad trip to Oyster Bay; details provided upon registration. The walking totals approximately 4-5 miles at a casual pace. Dress warmly, bring lunch and a scope if you have one.
Focus: with locations in proximity to the train station, the primary focus will center on coastal sea birds, ducks, gulls and wintering passerines in a second BBC visit to this birding area. In February 2019, a Pacific Loon was found offshore .

Itinerary: The locations, all in proximity to each other, will focus on Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Beach Park (a coastal venue); Mill Pond, Beekman Beach, and Oyster Bay Marine Center (Sagamore Yacht Club).
