Focus: The peak period for butterflies at one of the best locations in the northeast. Butterfly entomologist and author Jeffrey Glassberg profiles this location in his book “Butterflies through Binoculars”.
Notes: This mid-morning trip is contingent on sunny or warm weather for productive butterfly activity. No postponements for bad weather. The preserve is northeast of Bedford, NY, about an hour and twenty minutes drive from Prospect Park pickup .
