The Beauty of Jones Beach in Winter

Focus: The focus is primarily on coastal waterfowl and gulls, wintering shorebirds, dune species, raptors, finches and other winter passerines.

Itinerary: The plan is for birding West End, Coast Guard Station, Roosevelt Nature Center area, and Point Lookout. Bring lunch, water, hot beverage and a  scope if you own one; dress accordingly for winter weather.
