These outings will start at The Audubon Center at the Boathouse. Come give some love to this special coastal bird habitat before nesting season on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 9:00 am–1:00 pm. We’ll focus on removing debris from the beach and surrounding areas; cleanup tools will be provided. Bring sturdy shoes, weather-appropriate layers, and—if you have them—binoculars and keen eyes for spotting both birds and trash. Vernal Awakenings at Shu Swamp Nature Preserve, Hume and Upper Francis Pond Preserves in Oyster Bay
